Creative Writing

Class description

The workshops are for new and experienced writers, and will cover memoir, fiction, and poetry, using writing prompts, and supported by work written by contemporary writers. The atmosphere will be friendly and supportive. Workshop attendees will be able to share their writing with the group. Connie and Cathy are both well published writers, with degrees in creative writing from the University of Birmingham. In the past they have run a number of summer schools for Warwick University, and taught individually there, and for Percival Guildhouse in Rugby. They have also taught a series of classes at The Herbert Gallery in Coventry, using the artwork exhibited there as inspiration for the students. Cathy teaches regularly at Percival Guildhouse, and they both teach privately in Stratford.
