Plein Air Painting

Class description

Come and Paint en plein air (Outdoors) with Lizzie Bentley on Saturday Mornings 10am to 1pm. Each week we will meet at the Brook around 9.55am and in good weather we will venture outside to paint. There are some fabulous plein air painting opportunities near the brook and we will go outside and paint together. This is a bring your own materials class. There are some easels (message lizzie in advance of the class to reserve an easel) you are encouraged to bring your own plein air easel if you have one. Lizzie Bentley is an Oil Painter but you are welcome to paint with any medium. Lizzie usually paints also during the session and so you can see how she approaches and finishes a painting. Lizzie will offer tips and materials advice and cater her tuition to each individual's needs. Lizzie Studied Fine Art at Oxford University and completed her painting training at Heatherleys School of Art. This is a friendly and mixed ability class with the shared aim of Plein Air Painting. In bad weather- we will still meet but we will paint indoors at the Brook Arts Hub. £20 per morning.
