Class description
Saturday 22nd March (2pm - 5pm) Willow Swifts / Swallows. Come and join Clare Shilvock from Warwickshire Willow to weave your own willow swift / swallow to decorate your home or garden. Can be hung on a wall or made into a mobile. Adults and accompanied children over 13 only. £55 Minimum class size 4. Maximum 8 This workshop is suitable for beginners or people who have done some willow weaving before. Because willow bark contains salicin, this workshop is not suitable for those who are allergic or sensitive to salicylates (such as aspirin). All materials, tuition, use of tools and lights refreshments are included. Please bring glasses (if you need them for close-up work). Wear old clothes (or bring an apron) and covered, flat shoes (no sandals or open toes).
