Willow Weaving - 'Willow Sculpture'

Class description

Sunday 18th May Willow Sculpture. Learn to make a willow animal sculpture with Clare Shilvock from Warwickshire Willow. What will you choose? Maybe a hare, heron, duck or pheasant? £105 Adults only. Minimum class size 4. Maximum 8. This workshop is suitable for beginners or people who have done some willow weaving before. Because willow bark contains salicin, this workshop is not suitable for those who are allergic or sensitive to salicylates (such as aspirin). All materials, tuition, use of tools and lights refreshments are included. Please bring glasses (if you need them for close-up work). Wear old clothes (or bring an apron) and covered, flat shoes (no sandals or open toes).
